Organization: ARULA for Autism (An initiative by Dr. Mayuri Ramdasi, globally renowned Speech & Language Therapist with 23+ years of experience)
Location: Hybrid (Primarily Remote; occasional in-person reporting at Matunga office, Mumbai upon prior notice)
Stipend: ₹2,500 per month + Incentives on each Initial Assessment (IA) booking

About ARULA for Autism
ARULA for Autism is a pioneering program developed by Dr. Mayuri Ramdasi, a consultant speech and language therapist with over two decades of expertise in child development and neurodivergence. ARULA empowers parents globally by offering structured guidance, therapy, and rehabilitation approaches for children with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergences.
As a Counseling Psychologist Intern at ARULA, you will gain exposure to international parental communities, multidisciplinary practices, and innovative rehabilitation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Parent Outreach & Counseling
- Reach out to parents interested in learning more about ARULA for Autism.
- Counsel parents on Autism, ADHD, Neurodivergence, and ARULA’s unique approach.
- Help parents understand how ARULA can support their child’s rehabilitation journey.
- Initial Assessment Support
- Assist parents in booking Initial Assessments (IA) with ARULA.
- Clearly and empathetically discuss monetary terms and conditions.
- Maintain follow-ups with parents regarding IA bookings.
- Knowledge & Content Contribution
- Explore and apply concepts from developmental psychology, child psychology, and rehabilitation techniquesin Autism and ADHD.
- Support marketing initiatives directed toward parental engagement.
- Occasionally contribute to essays, articles, and blog posts on neurodivergence and rehabilitation.
- Provide counseling insights to support product development.
Learning & Exposure
- Hands-on experience in developmental and child psychology, autism & ADHD rehabilitation, and parental counseling.
- Interaction with global parental communities across multiple countries.
- Cross-functional exposure in marketing, product development, and psychology-based content creation.
- Direct learning opportunities under Dr. Mayuri Ramdasi and the ARULA team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Master’s/Bachelor’s in Psychology (Counseling, Clinical, Child, or Applied Psychology preferred).
- Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and Neurodivergence.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills in English (Hindi/Marathi proficiency is a plus).
- Empathetic, patient, and able to handle sensitive parental conversations.
- Comfortable working in a remote + hybrid setup.
Compensation
- Stipend: ₹2,500 per month.
- Performance Incentives: Additional incentives for each Initial Assessment (IA) successfully booked.
