Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Application Expert in LCMS to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in LCMS operations, particularly with Thermo LCMS, and a strong background in the Pharma/Biopharma industry. This role involves significant travel and requires a deep understanding of chromatography products and method development.
A day in the Life:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine visits to designated customers to identify application gaps and provide solutions.
- Actively participate in method development activities for all chromatography products, including HPLC, at our demo lab.
- Effectively transfer methods to customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Strengthen Thermo Fisher Scientific’s relationships with key scientific and educational leaders.
- Generate technically reviewed Proof of Concepts (POCs) and contribute data/reports to global technical tools.
- Handle and troubleshoot product-related issues at demo labs or customer sites.
- Learn and support alternate chromatographic techniques as part of cross-product training.
- Stay updated on current technology trends and scientific literature and share knowledge with the sales force team.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate / PhD or equivalent experience in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic) / Biochemistry / Pharmacy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (> 60%).
Experience
- Over 7 years of experience in LCMS operations, with a preference for Thermo LCMS knowledge.
- More than 5 years of experience in the Pharma/Biopharma industry.
This role may require occasional travel based on event requirements and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
