Job Responsibilities
- To lead a team of analysts supporting the discovery/synthetic chemistry activities.
- Responsible for analytical method developments and validations.
- Accountable for speed, cost and quality of analytical chemistry
- Ability to create and work on standards to enhance processes
- Identify probable issues, establish error limitations, and plan for resolution in advance.
- Maintain the analytical facility in all aspects, including safety.
- Develop productivity metrics and initiatives to improve productivity year over year through a combination of talent, processes, and technology.
- Train the staff on latest scientific and technological advances
- Critically analyse and interpret data, and communicate accurate reports, results, and ideas to stakeholders in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
Key Qualifications
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry with 5 – 10 years’ experience in Analytical Research and Development in the CRO space.
- Solid working experience in equipment and instrument validations, operation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Hands-on experience in HPLC (prep and analytical), LCMS, FTIR, Moisture titrator, UV spectrophotometer, NMR and other analytical instruments
- Good knowledge and ability to handle CAD would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated capability in identifying and handling new technology and equipment, reduction in cost, and knowledge-based troubleshooting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹304,802.74 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
