Key responsibilities
- Drive ambulance safely to and from medical facilities or emergency sites.
- Assist in loading/unloading patients using stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Follow traffic laws and medical transport protocols at all times.
- Maintain ambulance cleanliness and ensure equipment is sanitized and functional.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and ensure timely servicing.
- Maintain accurate transport records and trip documentation.
- Assist paramedics in non-clinical tasks as required.
- Ensure fuel, oxygen, and medical supplies are adequately stocked.
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls and coordinate with emergency teams.
