Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing of merchant acquiring systems
- Validate POS transactions, chargebacks, settlements, and fee calculations
- Review and verify ISO 8583 messages for accuracy
- Conduct regression, functional, and UAT testing
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams
- Document test cases, scenarios, and defect logs
- Provide post-production support during rollouts
Requirements:
- 5+ years of testing experience in merchant acquiring or payments
- Good understanding of ISO 8583, POS transactions, and clearing/settlement flows
- Experience with POS simulators and acquiring test environments
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, and UAT testing
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured)
- Knowledge of EMV, NFC, or contactless payments
- Familiarity with acquirer-hosted platforms or switch environments
- Experience in both issuer and acquirer testing (nice to have)
