Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accounts Executive – Sales Reconciliation with 5+ years of experience in managing end-to-end reconciliation of sales across multiple platforms. This role is crucial in ensuring financial accuracy, timely settlements, and supporting audits and internal controls in a high-transaction retail or e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly sales transactions across retail, e-commerce (Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.), POS systems, and payment gateways
- Identify and resolve mismatches between order data, bank credits, accounting systems, and third-party platforms
- Manage reconciliation for cash, card, UPI, wallets, COD, and online payment modes
- Track deductions, chargebacks, platform fees, commissions, and returns; ensure accurate net settlement
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and tech teams to rectify discrepancies
- Prepare and present reconciliation reports with variance analysis to management
- Assist in monthly closures, statutory audits, GST filing, and compliance-related reporting
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all reconciliations
- Suggest and implement process improvements for faster and more accurate reconciliation
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales reconciliation/accounting in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or D2C businesses
- Strong command of Excel, reconciliation tools, and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of financial processes, GST, and tax implications related to sales
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
