Organization: The Organisation Harley’s Fine Baking (https://www.harleys.com/), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com / MBA – Finance). Certifications in Tally / ERP Next / Zoho Books (preferred, not mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 1+ year in recording, verifying and managing (OPEX - Operational expenses) across multiple outlets and the corporate office.
Job Brief: As an Accounts Executive (OPEX) at Harley’s Fine Baking, you will be responsible for accurately recording, verifying, and managing operational expenses across multiple outlets and the corporate office. You will play a key role in ensuring expense accuracy, vendor reconciliation, and statutory compliance, while supporting monthly closings and financial reporting. This role requires attention to detail, coordination with outlet managers, and vendor communication to maintain transparent and compliant expense management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record, verify and post OPEX (Operational expense) entries (rent, utilities, staff expenses, consumables, marketing, logistics, etc.) for multiple outlets and the corporate office.
- Review and reconcile vendor invoices, bills, and supporting documents before posting.
- Maintain accurate petty cash records, store-level expenses, and staff reimbursements.
- Coordinate with outlet managers to capture and validate daily/weekly expense reports.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly closings, accrual entries, and provisions.
- Liaise with vendors for statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation related to OPEX invoices.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and vendor-related compliance.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial reporting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to FMCG, Retail, or Food & Beverage industry accounts.
- Knowledge of ERP Next or similar cloud-based ERP solutions.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, marketing).
