Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to handle daily accounting tasks, GST filings, and overall financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP and thorough knowledge of GST returns (R1 & 3B).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP (Tally 9 / Tally Prime).
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
- Prepare, verify, and file TDS returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q) within deadlines.
- Generate TDS challans and ensure timely payments.
- Assist in preparation of Form 16 / 16A and ensure compliance with quarterly filings.
- Reconcile TDS and GST returns with books and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation and backups of financial filings.
- Support audits and coordinate with auditors.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of GST laws and filing processes.
- Experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing and reconciliation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
