Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup & Operation
- Set up VTL machines as per style/production requirements.
- Adjust machine settings (thread, needle, trimming, transport line, etc.) to ensure proper functioning.
- Operate the VTL efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct routine checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance of the VTL.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Escalate major technical faults to the maintenance team.
- Quality Control
- Ensure stitching/trimming/handling quality meets company standards.
- Monitor production pieces regularly to detect defects or deviations.
- Maintain required accuracy and consistency.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety guidelines while handling machines.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to 5S practices.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and production schedules.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with supervisors and line leaders regarding machine requirements.
- Record production data (output, downtime, rejections) in prescribed formats.
- Provide input for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of VTL machine functions and settings.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Minimum 10th/12th pass or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years as a VTL Operator/Setter in garment/textile industry preferred.
- Training: Technical training in machine handling is an added advantage.
Work Environment:
- Factory/production floor-based role.
- May require standing for long hours.
- Shift-based work as per production schedule.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
