Required VMC setter cum operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting Engineering Drawings:VMC Setters must be able to read and understand technical drawings to determine the required machining operations and specifications.
- Tooling Selection and Setup:They choose the correct cutting tools, fixtures, and other equipment needed for the specific job and mount them on the machine.
- Machine Setup and Calibration:This involves setting up the machine parameters, such as speeds, feeds, and offsets, to ensure accurate and efficient machining.
- Programming (G-code/M-code):In some cases, VMC Setters may need to program the machine using G-code or M-code to control the cutting paths and other machine functions.
- Monitoring and Adjustments:They monitor the machining process, ensuring the machine is running correctly and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Quality Control:VMC Setters conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet the required dimensional tolerances and specifications.
