Video Editor – Digital Marketing Company
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end video production – from ideation, scripting (if required), editing to final output
- Create engaging short-form and long-form videos for various digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Edit videos for:
- Social media reels & ads
- Brand videos, testimonials, case studies
- YouTube content
- Product explainers & promos
- Add animations, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and background scores to enhance video content
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to understand the project scope and delivery timelines
- Keep up with the latest video trends, formats, and editing techniques to create fresh and modern content
- Use AI-powered video tools when applicable to streamline workflows and boost efficiency
Must-Have Skillset & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, or a related field
- 1.5 to 2 years of experience in professional video editing
- Strong knowledge of:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Basic motion graphics and sound editing
- Familiarity with AI tools for video enhancement and editing (e.g., RunwayML, Adobe Sensei, Descript)
- Ability to handle fast-paced projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality edits
- Excellent sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-video synchronization
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment
