As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for all aspects of post-production, transforming raw footage into polished and impactful videos. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Editing: Assemble, cut, and edit raw footage into cohesive and engaging video sequences, ensuring adherence to project goals, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
- Storytelling: Work closely with content creators, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
- Audio Enhancement: Mix and master audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to achieve optimal clarity and impact.
- Visual Effects & Motion Graphics: Incorporate titles, lower thirds, graphics, and basic motion graphics to enhance visual appeal and convey information effectively.
- Color Grading: Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall aesthetic of the videos.
- Review & Feedback: Incorporate feedback efficiently and iteratively to refine edits until final approval.
- File Management: Organize and archive project files, raw footage, and finished videos systematically.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software advancements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with videographers, designers, writers, and other team members to ensure a seamless production workflow.
- Platform Optimization: Edit and export videos in various formats and aspect ratios optimized for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, website).
Proficiency in the following software is essential:
- Adobe Premiere Pro (Primary)
- Adobe After Effects (for motion graphics and visual effects)
- Adobe Audition (for advanced audio editing)
- Adobe Photoshop (for graphic manipulation)
- Adobe Illustrator (for vector graphics, if needed)
- DaVinci Resolve (knowledge is a plus)
Other Relevant Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of [2] years of professional video editing experience
- Proven experience in editing various types of video content (e.g., corporate videos, marketing ads, social media content, documentaries, short films).
- Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your best video editing work is mandatory. Please include a link to your online portfolio/reel in your application.
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent understanding of video codecs, formats, and best practices for various platforms.
- Knowledge of aspect ratios, frame rates, and resolutions.
- Understanding of basic videography principles is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
