Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior UX Researcher with 8+ years of experience to lead user research efforts across key products and initiatives. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape product experiences based on deep user understanding.
This role demands expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a passion for uncovering user needs to drive product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end UX research across product lifecycles from exploratory and generative to evaluative research.
Plan, design, and execute research studies using a mix of methodologies including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, field studies, A/B testing, card sorting, etc.
Translate research insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform product strategy and design decisions.
Synthesize complex findings and present them to stakeholders through compelling storytelling, reports, and presentations.
Work closely with product teams to prioritize research needs based on impact and business goals.
Contribute to and help scale a centralized research practice, tools, templates, and guidelines.
Mentor junior researchers and advocate for research best practices across teams. Bachelors or Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on UX research experience with a proven track record of driving product impact.
Strong command of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Experience working with digital products across web and mobile platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Proficient in research and analysis tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Lookback, Maze, or similar. Experience in B2B, SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or enterprise environments.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Comfort working with mixed-method approaches, including analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude).
Knowledge of Agile, Design Thinking, or Lean UX frameworks.
