About the Traineeship Program
We are seeking a Usability Design Trainee to join our product design team. This unpaid traineeship program (6–8 weeks) offers hands-on exposure to user research, usability testing, and UX evaluation. You will work closely with the Interaction Design and Product teams to test prototypes, identify pain points, and contribute to creating frictionless fashion-tech experiences for Wabric and Wabb.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and conducting usability tests for web & mobile apps.
- Recruit and coordinate with test participants.
- Observe user sessions and document insights on user behavior, pain points, and preferences.
- Support in A/B testing and heuristic evaluations of UI designs.
- Contribute to creating usability reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to improve user flows and interaction patterns.
- Explore accessibility and inclusivity testing methods for broader user coverage.
What You’ll Learn
- Fundamentals of usability testing and UX research methods.
- Tools like Maze, Lookback, Hotjar, Google Optimize, or Figma testing plugins.
- Conducting user interviews, surveys, and observation sessions.
- Translating findings into design recommendations.
- Exposure to real product testing cycles in fashion-tech & e-commerce.
Requirements
- Student/fresher in HCI, Psychology, Interaction Design, UI/UX, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of UX principles & user-centered design.
- Strong observation and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly in reports & presentations.
