Job Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order (PO) Release:
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely release of purchase orders.
- Ensure accurate documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Material Follow-up:
- Regularly follow up with vendors and transporters to ensure timely material delivery.
- Address delays or discrepancies in deliveries.
- Stock Checking:
- Perform routine stock verification and maintain minimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the store team for accurate physical and system-based stock records.
- Data Maintenance:
- Maintain records of material inward/outward, PO status, and inventory levels.
- Update procurement and logistics data in ERP or relevant systems.
- Vehicle Planning:
- Plan and schedule vehicles for dispatch and receipt of materials.
- Optimize vehicle usage to reduce transportation cost and time.
- Site & Vendor Visits:
- Conduct visits to vendor premises and project sites for inspection, coordination, and relationship management.
- Resolve vendor-related issues proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Engineering or related field.
- 1 years of relevant experience in logistics, store, or purchase department.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for site/vendor visits.
