Job Summary:
The Store Executive is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical machinery parts and components. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely material dispatches, and compliance with GMP, ISO, and other quality standards applicable to the pharma industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain stock levels and manage inventory using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, etc.)
- Ensure accurate records of goods received and issued.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
- Material Handling:
- Receive incoming materials and inspect them for quality and quantity.
- Tag, label, and store items in designated storage locations.
- Prepare and dispatch material against job orders or customer orders.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), Issue Slips, Inward/Outward Registers, and other documentation.
- Ensure all materials comply with GMP/ISO and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for material clearance.
- Coordination:
- Work closely with production, purchase, and logistics departments.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for material delivery and pickup.
- Housekeeping & Safety:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Follow safety protocols while handling machinery components or chemicals.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field preferred.
- Knowledge of pharma machinery parts (e.g., tablet press, granulators, blenders) is a plus.
- Proficient in inventory software and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if required).
