Requirements
Think you have what it takes?
As a Staff Auditor, you’ll be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, examining profit and loss, deriving conclusions based on the reports, and making the necessary recommendations. Evaluation and analysis of the financial data and verification of general ledger entries are some of the basic functions.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Gain knowledge of GAAP and auditing techniques
- Assume responsibility for various segments of audit engagements
- Execute day-to-day activities of audit engagements for multiple clients: documentation, cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, other assets, accounts payable, legal fees, operating lease commitment schedule, proofing financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Communicate auditing matters and problems to supervisors
- Interact with clients to help team efficiency
- Acquire a working knowledge of client businesses
- Become oriented with the Firm’s practices, policies, and culture
What Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
- CPA or CPA eligibility
- Understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members
- Ability to handle client relationships with minimal supervision
