About the Team
Our mission is to deliver a best-in-class user experience for internal and external advertising products that delights users and simplifies their tasks. Ads Customer Interfaces team develops full-stack web applications, and end-to-end revenue operations business tooling to provide a unified interface Roku's suite of advertising products.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our Ads Customer Interfaces team to build intuitive, high-performance, and scalable full-stack applications. You will be responsible for developing core features and tools that support Roku’s growing advertising business, including the internal interfaces used to manage ad campaigns, reporting, and revenue operations.
This role requires strong technical expertise in modern front-end and back-end frameworks—primarily React, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver elegant user experiences and robust service integrations. You’ll also contribute to performance tuning, API development, and system design for large-scale, business-critical applications.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade high-quality web applications
- Develop new features while constantly working to improve usability, quality, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate as a part of a high-functioning team of UX designers, software engineers, and product managers
- Exhibit a deep problem-solving mindset to tackle complex issues impacting our users effectively
- Flexible to shift focus between UI and backend development as needed by initiatives
- Flexible to shift focus on UI and/or backend as initiatives needed
- Deliver constant value to the business in a highly agile team focused on continuous deployment
- Systems debugging, performance measurement, and optimization for product operations
We’re Excited If You Have:
- Bachelors or Master's in computer science or a related quantitative discipline
- 8+ years of experience with great coding skills and strong software development experience in React, Node.js, and TypeScript technologies
- Experience with web design patterns such as MVC, SPA, Responsive Design, and Microsites
- Experience with distributed caching, SQL/NoSQL, and strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP
- Ability to work with complex web applications, custom web frameworks, and infrastructure like AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Ad tech background is a plus
