Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate **South Indian DCDP** to join our culinary team at Peninsula Redpine Hotel. The candidate will specialize in authentic South Indian cuisine, ensuring consistency, taste, and quality while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes as per the menu and guest preferences.
* Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
* Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
* Maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
* Monitor inventory of South Indian ingredients and assist in requisition planning.
* Train and guide Commis and junior kitchen staff in South Indian cuisine.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hotel policies.
* Handle guest special requests related to South Indian dishes efficiently.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in South Indian cuisine at a reputed hotel or restaurant.
* Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian dishes, spices, and cooking methods.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Culinary diploma or certification preferred.
