Shift Incharge
Job Overview
The Shift Incharge is responsible for running the kitchen operations smoothly during their shift. This includes ensuring hygiene and food quality standards, maintaining daily checklists, overseeing inventory usage, and enforcing operational SOPs across stations. In addition to supervising the floor, the Shift Incharge also plays a key role in team development—guiding junior staff, ensuring they learn processes correctly, and stepping in when required to help with order execution or mise prep. One meal(Rice + Indian Curry) is provided per shift.

Key Responsibilities
Lead kitchen operations during the shift to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
Enforce hygiene, safety, and food quality standards across all stations.
Ensure daily checklists, opening/closing protocols, and shift reports are completed accurately.
Monitor and manage inventory consumption, stock levels, and wastage control.
Guide, train, and supervise junior staff; provide real-time feedback and ensure process adherence.
Step in when needed to support high-volume operations, including handling orders or assisting with mise prep.
Requirements
Minimum 30 months of relevant kitchen experience and at least 12 months of relevant team/shift management experience
Must be a graduate/Diploma holder(diploma after 12th).
Strong understanding of kitchen Operations , inventory control, hygiene and punctuality.
Capable of leading a team, managing shift responsibilities, and handling operational escalations.
