About The Role
Ethos is seeking a talented and driven SEO Content Writer based in Bangalore, India to join our fast-growing team. You will play a critical role in creating high-quality, search-optimized content that drives traffic, improves rankings, and supports user acquisition goals.
We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is excited to help shape the content roadmap and has a passion for impactful writing in a mission-driven startup.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content including blog posts, landing pages, and product-related copy to drive organic traffic growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Design, SEO, and Marketing) to align content strategies with broader business objectives.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics and iterate on content based on insights and feedback.
- Stay up to date with SEO best practices, Google algorithm changes, and content trends to maintain competitive edge.
- Contribute to building a scalable content pipeline that supports rapid testing and growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in SEO-focused content writing, ideally in a B2C or high-growth startup environment.
- Strong grasp of SEO principles including on-page optimization, keyword targeting, and content structuring.
- Proven track record of producing content that ranks well and drives measurable results.
- Excellent command of written English for the United States audience, with a flair for storytelling and a detail-oriented approach to grammar and syntax.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple content projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, SurferSEO, or similar.
- Experience with CMS platforms
- Prior exposure to the fintech, insurtech, or personal finance sectors is an advantage.
