Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products. Job Description
In addition to the value stream organization, the supporting BPS (Bosch Production System) organization is a key success factor for the Bosch Production System.
The constant changes in our business environment and the resulting shift in conditions require BPS Coordinators who continuously drive the implementation of the Bosch Production System at the plant.
A crucial part of this role is the development and maintenance of BPS standards at the plant.
Responsibilities include:
- Coaching leaders in production on the application of the BPS system approach.
- Ensuring preparation and on-site support for BPS assessments by the value stream organization.
- Developing practical solutions for implementing BPS elements within the prescribed guidelines.
- Executing clearly defined BPS-related project tasks.
- Acting as a multiplier for BPS implementation across departments.
- Partnering with value stream leaders and managers to develop standards, modules, and conduct qualification programs.
- Thinking in value streams to simplify and accelerate our processes.
- Supporting value stream managers and all leadership in practically applying BPS principles and methods, including moderating workshops.
- Viewing established standards as a foundation for further focused improvements that lead to new standards. Through continuous improvement, you work consistently toward eliminating waste and achieving stable, safe processes.
- Taking on the role of BPS Value stream Coordinator.
- Implementing the BPS training and qualification concept as a trainer.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience and Expertise: 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in applying BPS and extensive leadership experience.
