Short Description:
We are seeking highly skilled Cloud Backup Experts with a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SAP landscapes. This role requires hands-on experience with public cloud storage technologies, backup strategies, scripting, and system automation.
This is a remote, full-time contract role focused on cloud-based technical services, development, and support for enterprise-grade projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Implement and maintain cloud backup strategies (e.g., snapshot, backint for HANA, file dump).

Develop scripts and automation tools using Bash, Python, or equivalent.

Ensure data integrity through secure encryption mechanisms.

Collaborate with SAP and cloud architects to support E1/E2/E4 integration and operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, backup, and performance issues.

Adapt rapidly to new technologies and project-specific changes.

Communicate effectively across teams and document solutions meticulously.

Required Skills & Experience:
Several years of experience in IT infrastructure and public cloud environments.

Proficient with cloud storage technologies and backup tools.

Knowledge of backup types: Snapshot, Backint (SAP HANA), File dump, etc.

Experience in scripting (Bash) and programming (Python preferred).

Strong understanding of data encryption practices.

Proactive problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting capabilities.

Highly organized, structured, and goal-oriented.

Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have:
Experience working in SAP-focused cloud environments.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.

Prior engagement in Snappy Architecture or similar frameworks.
