Job Summary:
The Sales Executive at Damro Furniture is responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and promoting Damro’s furniture range. The role involves understanding customer needs, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a seamless buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for furniture products (sofas, beds, dining sets, etc.).
- Actively approach walk-in customers, follow up on leads, and convert inquiries into sales.
- Upsell/cross-sell products and promote promotional campaigns.
- Customer Service:
- Provide expert advice on product features, materials, and pricing.
- Assist customers in selecting furniture based on their needs and preferences.
- Handle complaints professionally and ensure post-sale satisfaction.
- Store Operations:
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure products are well-presented.
- Process orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
- Coordinate with logistics/warehouse teams for timely deliveries.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and customer trends.
- Share feedback with management to improve offerings.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain sales records and update CRM systems.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 1+ years in retail sales (furniture/home décor preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-centric approach with persuasive abilities.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM tools).
- Knowledge of furniture materials (wood, upholstery) is a plus.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, target-driven, and presentable.
Working Conditions:
- Job Type: Full-time (may include weekends/public holidays).
- Environment: Showroom-based with occasional outdoor customer visits.
