Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify target markets (B2B, B2C, projects, government contracts, exports, etc.) and develop tailored approaches.
- Design pricing, discounting, and channel incentive structures to maximize profitability.
- Establish a clear roadmap for penetrating new geographies and distribution networks.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to understand trends in sanitaryware, faucets, and bathroom fittings.
- Benchmark competitors’ pricing, products, and promotional strategies.
- Provide actionable insights to management for product positioning and portfolio planning.
Channel & Distribution Management:
- Strengthen dealer/distributor/retailer networks across domestic and international markets.
- Build and manage relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and institutional buyers.
- Support e-commerce and modern retail expansion strategies.
Sales Performance & Analytics:
- Monitor sales KPIs such as volume, revenue, profitability, and regional growth.
- Identify gaps in sales performance and develop corrective action plans.
- Use CRM tools and data analytics to optimize sales forecasting and resource allocation.
Team Collaboration & Enablement:
- Work closely with the sales team to translate strategies into execution plans.
- Provide training, sales kits, and negotiation strategies to empower the field force.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
Innovation & Growth Initiatives:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including institutional sales, government projects, and exports.
- Recommend innovative selling models (e.g., influencer marketing through architects/designers).
- Explore opportunities in sustainability-focused and premium sanitaryware segments.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the sanitaryware, faucets, and bathroom fittings industry.
- Expertise in sales strategy, channel management, and distribution planning.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting and data-driven decision making.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive execution.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Excel, and sales dashboards.
