RMO (Resident Medical Officer):

- Monitoring patient status
- Responding to emergencies
- Carrying out orders from senior doctors (consultants/specialists)
- Coordinating with nursing and allied health staff
- Assisting in procedures, surgeries, or ward rounds
Cardiac Unit:
This could refer to several specialized areas, such as:
- Cardiology ward – for patients with heart diseases (e.g., heart failure, arrhythmias)
- Cardiac ICU (CCU) – intensive care for critical cardiac patients
- Cardiothoracic surgery unit – for patients undergoing heart and chest surgeries
- Cath lab – where diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like angioplasty are performed
Responsibilities of an RMO in a Cardiac Unit:
- Monitoring cardiac patients (e.g., ECGs, vitals, post-op care)
- Managing medications like anticoagulants, beta-blockers, etc.
- Assisting in cardiac procedures or post-procedure care
- Handling cardiac emergencies (MI, arrhythmias)
