Welcome guests warmly and ensure a pleasant dining experience. Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters, runners, and other service staff. Take guest orders accurately and provide recommendations when needed. Ensure all food and beverages are served correctly and efficiently. Check food presentation and service standards before serving to guests. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Assist in training new staff members on service procedures and restaurant standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented dining area. Monitor table settings, cleanliness, and readiness for service. Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication. Assist management with opening and closing duties (cash handling, reporting, checklists).
