- Image Acquisition and Analysis:Radiographers capture high-quality images, analyze them for quality and accuracy, and ensure they are properly stored and archived.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:They work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and contribute to patient care plans.
- Radiation Safety:Radiographers ensure that radiation safety protocols are followed to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Equipment Maintenance:They perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
- Record Keeping:Radiographers maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data.
- Continuing Education:They stay updated on the latest advancements in radiologic technology and practices through continuing education and training.
