Applications are invited for the post of project assistant (1 nos.) in the field of Quantum Materials and Devices funded by National Quantum Mission (NQM) at IIT Kanpur.
Essential Qualification: B.Sc./ 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology
Desirable Skills
- Experience in working in an experimental laboratory with a high preference for optics laboratory.
- Experience in purchases in central government institute.
- Experience in nanofabrication with high preference for electron beam lithography.
- Experience in coding with Python for interfacing.
Job Profile
- Candidate will be responsible for laboratory preparation work for installation of equipment.
- Candidate will be responsible for paperwork for purchase related to the project.
- Candidate will be expected to undertake research work to assist PI in the project activities.
- Documentation.
Consolidated Salary: INR 20000 + 18% HRA per month.
Nature of Position: Temporary / Contractual.
Duration of appointment: The appointment is for 1 year.
