Physiotherapists are experts in human movement and have a key role in prevention, identification, assessment, treatment and (re)habilitation of individuals when movement and function are threatened or affected by ageing, injury, diseases, conditions or environmental factors.
· Provides extensive clinical services to inpatient and outpatient.
· Meeting with patients to assess what their physical challenges are and follow instruction of consulting doctor on suitable treatment program
· Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments per consultant instructions.
· Involving the families and caregivers of patients in their treatment program and the delivery of care.
· Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports.
· Staying up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques.
· Complying with government physiotherapy regulations.
· Guide patients to improve strength and movement.
· Doing home visits as per requirement or instructed by doctors.
· Assisting trauma patients with how to walk again.
· Staying up to date with developments in treatments.
· Regularly measure patient progress by looking for signs of decreased. stiffness, pain, and discomfort & update same to their treating doctors.
· Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care.
· Treat patients with movement disorders that were acquired through injury.
· Massage and stretch muscles where necessary.
