Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Physics Lecturer to teach Pre-University Course (PUC) students. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Physics, effective communication skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students. The role includes delivering the Karnataka PU Board curriculum, preparing students for board and entrance exams, and supporting their academic journey.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Physics (M.Sc. in Physics) from a recognized university.
- Preferred: B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
- Prior teaching experience at PUC or higher secondary level is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Karnataka PU Board syllabus and exam pattern is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to 1st and 2nd PUC students as per the Karnataka State PU Board syllabus.
- Design and deliver lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse student needs.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including experiments, models, simulations, and digital tools.
- Prepare students for board examinations, class tests, and competitive exams like CET, NEET, or JEE (if applicable).
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records including attendance, performance, and exam results.
- Support students through mentoring, doubt-clearing sessions, and academic counseling.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff development programs, and school functions.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent command over subject and ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of technology for teaching (e.g., smart boards, simulations).
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
- Organized, disciplined, and committed to academic excellence.
