Job Opening: Online Maths & Physics Tutor (Grades 7 to 12)
Remote | Part-Time
Timings: 11 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Compensation: ₹250 – ₹350 per hour
About the Role:
Are you passionate about teaching and shaping young minds? We’re looking for a skilled and engaging online tutor to teach Mathematics and Physics to students in Grades 7 to 12, based on the Australian curriculum. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an interactive teaching environment, enjoys breaking down complex concepts, and is comfortable with digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one live video classes in Mathematics & Physics.
- Use activity-based and enquiry-driven methods to spark curiosity.
- Personalize instruction based on student needs and learning pace.
- Maintain a child-friendly, professional, and distraction-free online classroom.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or related fields (Bachelor’s with strong tutoring experience may be considered).
- Fluent in spoken and written English (neutral or clear accent preferred).
- Experience teaching students from Grades 7 to 12.
- Familiarity with Olympiads, mental math, and numerical reasoning is a plus.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and other online teaching tools.
- A Windows 10 laptop, high-speed internet, and a quiet teaching environment.
- A pen tablet is preferred for smoother content delivery (optional but recommended).
