Job Summary:
The Nursing Incharge will oversee and manage nursing staff and patient care services within the assigned unit/ward. The role involves ensuring high standards of clinical care, supervising nursing operations, coordinating with doctors and administrative staff, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff in day-to-day operations.
- Ensure quality patient care, safety, and comfort in the assigned unit/ward.
- Prepare duty rosters, allocate staff, and manage leaves/attendance.
- Monitor nursing activities to ensure adherence to clinical protocols, SOPs, and hospital guidelines.
- Conduct training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Maintain records related to patient care, staff performance, and department reports.
- Ensure adequate stock and availability of medicines, consumables, and equipment.
- Handle patient complaints, concerns, and grievances professionally.
- Implement infection control, safety, and hygiene practices.
- Report to the Nursing Superintendent/Head of Nursing regarding unit operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum 5–8 years of clinical/nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or incharge role.
- Registration with State Nursing Council is mandatory.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- In-depth knowledge of nursing protocols, hospital policies, and patient care standards.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and critical patient care.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹54,160.92 per month
