Patient Care:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, surgery, and palliative care.
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and assist with treatment procedures as per the doctor's instructions.
- Address patient queries and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Clinical Duties:
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records, including treatment plans, progress, and reports.
- Assist in dressing wounds, administering injections, and managing intravenous (IV) lines.
Coordination:
- Work closely with doctors, paramedics, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate patient needs and any changes in condition to the appropriate medical personnel.
Education & Counseling:
- Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and lifestyle changes tailored to cancer care.
Compliance:
- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines in patient care.
