Role Overview
As a News Anchor, you will be responsible for delivering daily news segments, conducting interviews, and presenting stories in a clear, professional, and engaging manner. You will work closely with our editorial and video teams to ensure factual accuracy and high production quality.
Responsibilities
- Present news stories on-camera in a clear and compelling way
- Read from a teleprompter or scripted notes with confidence and clarity
- Collaborate with producers and scriptwriters to prepare news segments
- Conduct live or recorded interviews with guests and subject-matter experts
- Maintain a professional on-camera presence and appearance
- Stay updated with current events and trending topics
Requirements
- Excellent spoken communication skills in both Hindi and English
- Confident and clear on-camera presence
- Strong interest in current events, journalism, or broadcasting
- Ability to think on your feet and handle live situations professionally
- Prior experience in anchoring or public speaking is a plus
- Comfortable working with teleprompters, microphones, and studio equipment
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcast Media, or a related field.
- Previous experience in News broadcasting or journalism is often preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
