- Core Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Preparation:Explain tests to patients, ensure their comfort and safety, and prepare them for procedures by applying electrodes and sensors.
- Test Administration:Conduct various neurodiagnostic tests, including:
- Electroencephalograms (EEGs): Record brain's electrical activity.
- Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS): Assess nerve function.
- Electromyography (EMG): Evaluate muscle function.
- Polysomnography (PSG): Monitor sleep patterns.
- Evoked Potentials: Measure sensory responses to stimuli.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance:Operate, calibrate, and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
