Key responsibilities include detailed documentation of all metal stocks, assessing and validating the authenticity and purity of metals and stones, and collaborating with production and design teams to ensure quality and supply chain efficiency. - Inventory Management:
- Maintain precise and detailed records of all precious metals, gemstones, and other components used in jewelry production.
- Track incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Material Quality & Authenticity:
- Verify the authenticity and purity of materials such as gold, silver, and diamonds using various tests.
- Inspect and assess the quality of raw materials and finished jewelry pieces to meet design specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Document all metal stock movements and maintain comprehensive inspection and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality and inventory control procedures.
- Collaboration & Compliance:
- Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to address quality issues and ensure a consistent supply of materials.
- Liaise with vendors for replenishment of raw materials.
