- Collect, label, and process samples (blood, urine, swabs, etc.)
- Conduct routine and specialized diagnostic tests as per standard protocols
- Operate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, analyzers, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of tests, results, and reports
- Follow safety and infection control procedures at all times
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments regularly
- Assist in managing inventory of lab supplies and reagents
- Report abnormal or critical findings immediately to the concerned doctor/pathologist
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports to patients or front desk
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the lab area
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: DMLT / B.Sc MLT or equivalent
- Experience: 1–3 years in a diagnostic lab or hospital laboratory (freshers can also apply)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical terminology
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in test reporting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for report entry and printing
Preferred:
- Experience with automated analyzers (e.g., CBC, Biochemistry, CLIA, etc.)
- Familiarity with NABL protocols is a plus
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required
