Job description
- To perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing samples like blood, urine, and tissue to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment.
- To work under the supervision of a medical technologist, lab manager, or physician, preparing samples, operating equipment, recording and interpreting results, and maintaining a safe laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- To play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Ensuring samples are stored correctly and labeled accurately for identification.
- Using microscopes, centrifuges, automated analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Interpreting test results according to established protocols and guidelines.
