A. Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Formulate and implement hospital vision, mission, and long-term growth strategy.
- Provide direction to medical, clinical, and administrative teams for holistic healthcare delivery.
- Develop annual business plans, budgets, and performance benchmarks.
- Work closely with the Board/Management for policy decisions and expansion plans.
- Contribute to long-term planning for hospital expansion, service upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Analyze operational data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making
B. Medical Administration
- Supervise clinical governance, ensuring adherence to medical ethics, safety, and treatment protocols.
- Facilitate coordination among consultants, RMOs, nursing, diagnostics, and paramedical teams.
- Promote CME programs, clinical audits, research, and evidence-based practice.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and medico-legal compliance.
C. Administrative Oversight
- Oversee daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, OT, ICU, Emergency, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, Nursing, Housekeeping, Security, and Maintenance.
- Supervise Reception, Billing, and TPA Departments to ensure smooth patient experience and timely financial processing.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, hospital policies, and HR regulations.
- Maintain hospital discipline, staff morale, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
D. TPA, Insurance & Billing Supervision
- Ensure efficient functioning of TPA and insurance desk for smooth approvals and settlements.
- Monitor billing accuracy, discharge clearance, claim submission, and outstanding collections.
- Build strong relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients.
E. Marketing & Business Development
- Plan and execute hospital branding, outreach, and marketing campaigns.
- Build corporate tie-ups, referral networks, and doctor engagement programs.
- Expand patient base through health check-up packages, medical camps, and community health initiatives.
- Ensure hospital has strong online/digital presence and positive patient feedback reputation.
F. Financial & Resource Management
- Monitor hospital revenue, cost-efficiency, and profitability.
- Ensure transparent billing practices and timely claim settlements.
- Review MIS reports on admissions, occupancy, revenue, and department performance.
- Guide procurement and vendor management for cost-effective purchases.
G. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with NABH/NABL/JCI standards and healthcare regulations.
- Oversee documentation for statutory bodies – Fire NOC, AERB, Pollution Control, Biomedical Waste, etc.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments; implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Lead hospital accreditation, licensing, and renewal processes.
H. HR & Training Leadership
- Support HR in leadership hiring, performance appraisals, and manpower planning.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and teamwork.
- Ensure periodic staff training on ethics, patient safety, fire safety, emergency protocols, and soft skills.
- Motivate staff towards discipline, loyalty, and patient-centered care.
I. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards in hospital services.
- Prepare for inspections and audits, addressing any compliance issues proactively.
J. Technology and Systems:
- Implement and maintain hospital information systems for efficiency in administrative tasks.
- Support the adoption of new technologies and software solutions.

- Marketing effectiveness – increased patient footfall, corporate tie-ups, and referrals.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time senior management role, with extended hours as per hospital requirements.
- Available on-call for critical clinical or administrative decisions.
- Travel may be required between hospital branches, government bodies, and corporate clients.
