We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher who can engage students with creative and effective teaching methods. The teacher should be able to explain mathematical concepts clearly, connect lessons to real-life applications, and cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and tools, including manipulatives, technology, and visual aids.
- Create lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide feedback for improvement.
- Encourage mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, and a positive attitude toward the subject.
- Provide remedial support to struggling students through extra classes or personalized attention.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on interdisciplinary projects or math-related activities (e.g., Math Day, Olympiads, Math Labs).
- Communicate with parents during PTMs and as needed regarding student performance and progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
