Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented candidate to join as an IHL (Institute of Higher Learning) Marketing Associate. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about B2B go-to-market execution and higher-ed operations. You will work directly with the founder to support the end-to-end onboarding of our first set of university partners and their sourcing agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify suitable universities (IHLs) and their admissions leadership to reach out to.
- Craft clear, thoughtful outreach emails and LinkedIn InMails to initiate conversations.
- Maintain an organised CRM (Google Sheets / Airtable / HubSpot) with outreach pipeline, status updates, and call notes.
- Coordinate demo calls between founder and university stakeholders, ensuring pre- and post-meeting follow-ups.
- Build onboarding guides and SOPs for student-sourcing agents.
- Collaborate on refining the OpenGrads deck, landing page copy, and one-pager collaterals.
- Track key GTM metrics such as outreach volume, conversion rates, demo-to-sign rate, and agent activation.
- Support webinar and pilot onboarding logistics when required.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to write structured, persuasive outreach.
- Comfortable navigating LinkedIn, email sequencing tools, and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple conversations and deadlines.
- Professional presence and customer empathy when interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset and hunger to build from scratch.
Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Exposure to higher-ed, university partnerships, or edtech sales.
- Basic design skills in Canva or Figma to tweak GTM assets.
- Understanding of n8n, Zapier, or basic automation workflows
