Primary Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of a lab technician is to perform tests, experiments, and analyses in a laboratory
Key Responsibilities
- Collect soil, concrete, aggregate, and water samples from project sites
- Perform standard laboratory to determine material properties.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration for accurate results
- Accurately record test results and maintain detailed logs for project documentation
- Assist in ensuring construction materials meet LGED and project specifications
- Provide on-site testing and support during construction activities when needed.
- Follow all lab safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
- Prepare and submit test reports to engineers and supervisors for review and action
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 0 - 2 years of experience in similar field
