Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Korean Translator to join our team. The translator will be responsible for converting written, spoken, or multimedia materials from Korean to [Target Language] and vice versa, while maintaining the original meaning, tone, style, and cultural context. The ideal candidate should have strong linguistic abilities, cultural awareness, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate a wide range of documents, including business, technical, legal, marketing, and general content, from Korean to [Target Language] and/or vice versa.
- Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and consistent with organizational standards.
- Proofread and edit translated texts for grammar, clarity, and context.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain a glossary of industry-specific terminology and ensure consistent usage.
- Adapt translations to suit local cultural nuances, ensuring readability and engagement.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Korean Language, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a professional translator or interpreter
- Native or near-native fluency in Korean and English
- Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances.
- Familiarity with translation tools, CAT software, or localization platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
