The Jewel CAM Operator is responsible for translating 3D CAD jewellery designs into production-ready formats using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. The role involves generating precise tool paths, operating CAM machines (such as wax printers, CNC machines, or milling units), and ensuring that all outputs meet high-quality standards suitable for casting or direct manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import 3D CAD files and prepare them for CAM processing using appropriate software (e.g., RhinoCAM, ArtCAM, MatrixCAM, etc.).
- Create and optimize tool paths and support structures for smooth and accurate output.
- Operate CAM 2500 machine.
- Resin and wax printers wax printers, CNC mills, or other rapid prototyping equipment.
- Coordinate with CAD designers to understand design intent and resolve any issues related to printability or manufacturability.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CAM machines to ensure consistent performance and accuracy.
- Monitor the quality of output, ensuring it aligns with production and design standards.
- Troubleshoot machine errors or design-related issues during the CAM process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company safety standards.
- Document each job's technical details, settings, and output notes for future reference.
- Support production timelines by ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned CAM jobs.
- Stay updated with advancements in CAM technologies and tools relevant to jewellery manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the jewellery industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAM software used for jewellery.
- Familiarity with 3D printing processes and wax printing for jewellery casting.
- Good understanding of design-to-production workflow.
- Attention to detail and ability to detect and fix design/machine errors.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
