As an RTB Engineer, you will be a key contributor in building and scaling our RTB servers, integrating with top global exchanges, ensuring ultra-low latency performance, and continuously optimizing for business needs. This role demands strong AdTech domain knowledge, expertise in RTB protocols, and a passion for solving complex engineering problems.Objectives

• Design and maintain scalable, efficient backend code with seamless third-party integrations.
• Build robust, high-performance, and resilient back-end systems for RTB and AdTech platforms.
• Manage integrations with leading SSP and DSP partners across the industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RTB systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate with global ad exchanges via OpenRTB and other protocols.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize RTB server performance (latency, throughput, GC tuning).
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Implement, manage, and monitor ad campaigns while troubleshooting technical issues.
• Work with large-scale datasets to identify optimization opportunities and improve system efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvements in reliability, scalability, and fault-tolerance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
• 3–5 years’ experience in digital advertising (display, video, mobile).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with RTB systems.
• Deep understanding of OpenRTB protocol.
• Expertise in Java, Java EE/J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Hibernate, NIO, and microservice architectures.
• Strong debugging skills (memory leaks, thread starvation, heap/thread dumps).
• Understanding of Garbage Collection policies and JVM tuning.
• Experience with Kafka, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is a plus.
• Knowledge of server-side scripting and performance profiling tools is desirable.
