The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT systems, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day IT activities. This role involves troubleshooting, implementing IT solutions, and coordinating with team members to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize disruptions
- Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and devices.
- Ensure network connectivity and security by managing firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Install, configure, and update hardware (computers, printers, peripherals) and software applications.
- Manage IT inventory and ensure the timely procurement of required equipment.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and processes.
- Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, and recording devices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in IT support/Technical Support .
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux and MS Office.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud platforms and IT management tools.
