About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Course Counsellor to guide students and
professionals in choosing the right IT training and certification programs. The counsellor will be
responsible for understanding the candidate’s career goals, explaining course details, and
ensuring high conversions from enquiries to admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and working professionals on IT courses (e.g., Software Development,
Cloud Computing, Data Science, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, etc.).
Understand learners’ career goals and recommend suitable programs.
Handle enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, and provide complete course
information.
Follow up with prospective leads and convert them into admissions.
Maintain updated knowledge of IT industry trends and in-demand skills.
Collaborate with trainers and academic teams to align counselling with program
outcomes.
Maintain records of enquiries, counselling sessions, and admissions using CRM tools.
Achieve monthly enrolment targets and contribute to business growth.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Management/Any relevant field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in counselling, academic sales, or student advising.
Strong knowledge/awareness of IT courses, certifications, and industry career paths.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets.
Good command over MS Office, CRM, and online communication platforms.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
