Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Interior Designer responsible for on-site measurements, layout planning, and design coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in capturing accurate site dimensions, preparing layout drawings, and collaborating with the design and execution teams to ensure flawless implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit client sites to take accurate measurements of walls, flooring, windows, ceilings, and other structural elements.
- Prepare detailed site measurement reports and as-built drawings.
- Create 2D layout plans and coordinate with the design team for 3D visualization and client presentations.
- Ensure layout drawings align with site conditions and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team and vendors to finalize furniture positioning, electrical, plumbing, and civil changes if required.
- Maintain site measurement logs, photos, and dimensioned sketches for documentation.
- Communicate with clients and contractors for layout approvals and minor revisions.
- Participate in site meetings to ensure design feasibility and resolve any layout-related queries.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of space planning and ergonomics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and other drawings.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
