Position Type: Visiting Faculty (Part-Time/Guest Lecture Basis)
Shivalik College of Engineering invites applications for the position of Visiting Faculty to teach the subject "Rural Development: Administration & Planning ", offered as part of the B.Tech curriculum for CSE, ME, ECE, and CE branches in the current academic session.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and insightful lectures aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
- Prepare academic content, case studies, and supporting materialConduct assessments, quizzes, and evaluations.
- Guide students in understanding real-world rural development challenges and planning strategies.
- Collaborate with the academic department for continuous improvement in content delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduate degree (preferably Ph.D. or M.Phil.) in Rural Development, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching or relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.Familiarity with technical education and B.Tech-level instruction.Desirable Skills:
- Experience in community planning or development projectsAbility to engage students from diverse engineering disciplines Updated knowledge of rural development policies and schemes in IndiaApplication.
